Cancellation & Refund Policy

To confirm a reservation, an advance payment of 50% of the total booking amount is required.

Cancellations made 15 days or more prior to the check-in date will be eligible for a 100% refund of the advance amount.
Cancellations made between 5 and 15 days prior to the check-in date will be eligible for a 50% refund of the advance amount.
Cancellations made within 5 days of the check-in date will not be eligible for any refund.
Refunds, where applicable, will be processed within 7–10 working days through the original mode of payment.
Date modification requests are subject to room availability and management approval. Approval of a date change request shall be at the sole discretion of the management and may not be available during peak periods, long weekends, festivals, retreats, special events, or sold-out dates.
Date modification requests made within 5 days of the check-in date may be treated as a cancellation and will be subject to the applicable cancellation policy.
In case of a no-show, the entire booking amount paid shall be forfeited and no refund shall be applicable.

Roots & Peaks reserves the right to modify this policy without prior notice.

Early check-in and late check-out are subject to availability and may attract additional charges.
Early check-in or late check-out cannot be guaranteed in advance unless specifically confirmed by the management.

All guests must present a valid government-issued photo identification at the time of check-in.
Foreign nationals must present a valid Passport and Visa.
PAN Card is not accepted as a valid photo identity/address proof for check-in purposes.

A booking is confirmed only upon receipt of the required advance payment.
The balance amount must be settled at the time of check-in unless otherwise agreed.
Management reserves the right to cancel unconfirmed reservations.

Children below 8 years of age stay complimentary when sharing existing bedding with parents.
Additional bedding or meal plans for children may be charged separately.

Visitors are requested to meet guests in designated common areas.
Unregistered guests are not permitted to stay overnight without prior approval from the management.

Roots & Peaks is located in the peaceful hillside area of Upper Tapovan, Rishikesh.
Guests are advised to follow travel guidance and location instructions provided by the hotel.
Vehicle accessibility may vary depending on vehicle size and driver familiarity with hill roads.

Outside food and beverages may be restricted in certain areas of the property.
Guests are requested to inform the hotel in advance regarding food allergies, dietary restrictions or special meal requirements.
Consumption of food and beverages purchased outside the property may be restricted in restaurant and common dining areas.

Swimming Pool Timings: 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
The swimming pool remains strictly closed outside the designated operating hours.
Requests for extending pool usage beyond the designated timings cannot be accommodated under any circumstances.
These timings are maintained to ensure guest safety, proper supervision, water quality management, hygiene standards and routine maintenance.
Children must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times while using the pool.
Running, diving, rough play and consumption of food or beverages inside the pool are not permitted.
Pool usage is entirely at the guest's own risk.
Management reserves the right to restrict pool access due to adverse weather, maintenance requirements or safety concerns.

Guests are requested to keep cash, jewellery and valuables secured at all times.
The hotel shall not be responsible for loss, theft, damage or misplacement of personal belongings.
Any damage caused to hotel property by guests shall be chargeable and payable before departure.

Guests are requested to maintain decorum and respect the comfort and privacy of fellow guests.
Excessive noise, misconduct, illegal activities, nuisance, abusive behaviour or disturbance to other guests may result in immediate termination of stay without refund.
Loud music and high-volume gatherings may be restricted after designated quiet hours as determined by management.

The hotel shall not be liable for disruptions caused by natural calamities, road closures, weather conditions, landslides, government restrictions, strikes, power failures or any event beyond the reasonable control of the management.

Management reserves the right of admission.
The hotel reserves the right to refuse service or accommodation in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
